Safety – Proceed with care
As with all building/crafting projects, please proceed with care! I really wouldn’t want anyone to get hurt doing any project such as the ones shown in this blog. All projects and ideas posted on this blog have been shared purely for their esthetic value. No claims or guarantees regarding their soundness in structure, fire safety or any other safety aspect is being made by myself/on this blog. I (the author/owner of DIY With Style) can not not be held responsible/liable for any harm or damages which may result from the building/crafting process, the final product or intermediate products or any harm or damages which may follow mounting/displaying of the product.
When executing a building/crafting project:
- It is up to each individual to ensure that the product being built (at intermediate stages and the final product) be safe and sound in every manner relevant. This includes the way in which the item is mounted and secured for display.
- It is also up to each individual to ensure that all safety precautions be taken during the building/crafting process. This includes ensuring eye/skin/hair/hearing safety, fire/burn safety, ensuring adequate ventilation where necessary etc. When in doubt regarding the operation and storage of certain tools and safety measures to be taken when executing a project, it is advised to seek advice from a professional, such as at a hardware store.

I created this blog space because I was motivated to share ideas which I think others could appreciate and draw inspiration from. I love the creative process and I love to create art. Each time I finish a piece or decorate a space it truly puts a smile on my face and I’m happy to share it with others to enjoy. I recognize that we all have different tastes and what I may find tasteful, someone else may find, well, let’s just say not so tasteful! That being said, comments on this blog and other linked forums (ex: DWS Facebook page) are moderated. I would like for this to remain an enjoyable, civil environment, so those comments deemed uncivil, impolite, mean or using explicit language will not be tolerated and will not be made visible/will be deleted.
Comments which include unauthorized or unsolicited advertising, irrelevant, junk or bulk messaging (ex: “spamming”), will not be made visible/will be deleted.

In my posts, I may provide links to other sites on the internet, which include other blogs, merchant and information websites. I am currently not compensated to do this. Any links which I post are purely for information purposes, or because I really like the product or third party blog post.
